As a business Goodness Goodies support plastic free July in several ways. We sell a range of items that help you to keep plastic out of your homes, but equally there is the other side of the proposition, what we do as a business.
Reducing Waste

We are very strict about reusing and recycling everything we can. This includes the boxes that we send our packages in and reusing all packaging that comes to our door. We also encourage our customers to do the same.

Energy
Throughout our office space we have replaced our bulbs with energy-efficient lighting. We also switch our appliances to those that are energy efficient. We encourage lights and appliances to be switched off when not in use. We have turned down the thermostat in our heating or in some rooms the heating is off altogether with jumpers and scarfs worn if cold.

Sustainable Transportation
We always strive to bring in products via sea rather than air to reduce transport emissions. This means that our products travel a shorter distance, which reduces the amount of pollution that is created.

Green Web Hosting
Our website is hosted with a green web hosting provider. This means they have opted for renewable energy usage or buy carbon credits. This helps to offset the environmental impact of our website.

General
We are a small independent business, but we hope to make a difference. We are determined to use our business as a force for good. We believe that everyone has the power to make a positive impact on the world and we are here to help.
